EARTH DAY 2022

Hello! So glad you are here.

FUN FACT: Earth Day is Friday, April 22, 2022. The first Earth Day was observed on April 22, 1970, when 20 million people across America celebrated by filling their local streets, parks, and auditoriums to demand a healthy, sustainable environment. They were concerned about their cities laden with smog, polluted rivers, rampant pollution, and other environmental hazards.

Here are so easy ways to teach the littles in your home how to help the Earth daily.

💚Set up a recycling station – this is an easy peasy for the kiddos to learn.
Mama’s your littles can help you sort the recycling - you wash it, they sort it. Let them help!<---all sorts of skills to be learned here 😊

💚Give everyone a reusable water bottle and take it with you. There is every design style you can think of, choose the one you like best!

My favorite are these…pretty water makes me want to drink it! The glass is weighted, but not heavy. I like them.

My little one at 7, likes this kind and this kind.

💚Do you get Amazon packages like most of us? Turn all the cardboard into fun craft projects! Super for rainy day crafts!

💚My daughter has always attended schools that require the student to pack a lunch. Use reusable containers for an easy way to help create less waste. There are MANY choices out there for everyone, even adults! Here are our favorites.
We use all of these each week!

💚LEARN ABOUT BEES! This one is special to me and o’ so important! They are crucial to our environment and us!

💚Be water-wise. Teach the kiddos to turn off the water while brushing teeth…and don’t forget the shower too! A shorter one helps!

💚Have a clothing swap party with your friends! Mama’s you can do this too with your friends! - At my little’s school each year they have a Uniform Consignment Sale…this is a simple way to make those like-new items have a purpose! Brilliant idea!

💚Check out these cute Earth Day books! CHECK THEM OUT HERE

I'd love to hear what you and your littles do to help Mother Earth!

Until next time,
Jess
