Crafty Goodness for June 2-6 and an OMG!

OH MY GOSH!!!!  I just realized none of my posts has been auto posting the whole entire month of June!! When I went to pick the winner(s) of the Pocket Letters Giveaway I realized there was nothing, nada, not one single entry and now I know why!! YIKES!

So with that being said, here is the post that should have posted on June 6th. Everyone that comments will be entered into the drawing and winner(s) will be announced Saturday, July 4th!

Thanks for looking!

From June 6...

Okay, okay so I am a little behind in my daily crafty posts.
There were 101 things happening all at once and then I was under the weather for a bit.

Here are short versions of what would have been the daily posts for June 2-6. If you comment I will give you 5 entries (to make up for the daily posts being absent).

Let's get started.

June 2
On Saturday, we had a professional Rosary maker come in and teach us the art of making Rosaries. Here are the two that I made. I am 100% addicted to making these. OMGOODNESS so much fun!

I rarely talk politics or religion on here so I will keep this short and sweet. If you would like to have a handmade rosary from me, I would be thrilled to send you one. All of them will be blessed before being sent out. Just send me an email with your contact information and I will send one your way. I will include a simple guide to teach you how to pray the rosary if you do not have experience in doing so.

Happy Birthday to Me

Today is my 41st birthday!
YAY!!

In celebration I am giving surprises to all of you!
I will be posting every day in June something crafty.

If you comment I will enter you in a random weekly drawing for a Pocket Letter from me.
Each comment (limit one daily) will be an entry. The themes will all be different based on what I feel like creating. I will mail out a total of 5 Pocket Letters ( 4 + 1 = 5). If I had the time I would love to send 41 Pocket Letters. :)

Let the fun begin!

Another Pocket Letters™

Yes, I made another Pocket Letters™ . I told you they were addictive!

The theme of this one is "QUOTES". Which as we all know is one of my favorite things! I used some Basic Grey scrapbook papers, and miscellaneous quotes that I had saved on my Pinterest board.

Each Pocket Letter I do includes a "kit". This one has everything needed to make a few of those owl clips.

Thanks for looking.

My First Pocket Letter

Hello everyone! I am back and ready to start crafting again. Welcoming a new baby in February, getting back from Maternity Leave to the business I own and just getting into a new groove has been
challenging. Whew! My how time flies. :)

I have lots of upcoming Pocket Letters and planner goodness to share. Multi week posts will be coming!!

This weekend I made my first Pocket Letter.  What is a Pocket Letter you say? Well head on over to Janette's blog and she can tell you all about them!

The theme was "Hearts". This was so much fun to make. I will have a YouTube video up soon to show how I made my second one. Wanna see what it looks like? Head back over tomorrow and see a sneak peek of photos.

Hope everyone is well. I have missed you all. Tell me what you think about my VERY FIRST Pocket Letter. Please be kind :)

Here is the Pocket Letter open.
Each pocket starting at the top, left to right -
Pocket 1 is stuffed with stickers
Pocket 2 is full of these fun bling rhinestones
Pocket 3 is filled with die cute to make 2 pink and 2 black bows (I saw Serena Bee on YouTube do this and thought it was a fabulous idea. I hope to incorporate different "kits" with each PL.)
Pocket 4 has a fun tassle, a huge heart brad, piece of flair and some delicious tea
Pocket 5 ribbon, ribbon and more ribbon
Pocket 6 some heart shaped and round buttons
Pocket 7 heart die cuts in all shapes and sizes
Pocket 8 confetti, bling  - not sure what to really call this pocket of yummy goodness
Pocket 9 a little letter that tells a little bit about me

I wrapped it in a huge pink heart doily, a lollipop, my info card and some coordinating ribbons.

I really hope this brings a smile to the receiver.

Pinterest Challenge #3

I have been challenged by a crafty friend to post at least once a month:

Choose a Pinterest craft of any kind that interest me, attempt it, and share my version/outcome.

This kind of makes me giggle as many of you know my history with Pinterest crafts has been less than stellar, but for her I shall attempt her challenge.

I am a wee bit late in posting my March Challenge. As you can see COMPLETE EPIC FAIL! My smoothie is nowhere near as pretty. Thankfully it did taste good!

Come back next month for Challenge #3!

Coming Soon! Bloody Valentine

Stay tuned for the upcoming 2015 Bloody Valentine Blog Hop.
So get ready!!
Cannot wait to see what these amazing artists have in store for this year.

Pinterest Challenge #1

Earlier this week I posted about a challenge I was presented with- choose a Pinterest DIY project and recreate. (I honestly think she was being funny when she challenged me, as I have had more FAIL Pinterest projects than I have had positive results. I am a terrible "copy-cat creator, LOL.)

Here is my inspiration photo. I am tackling an "old" project that has been done for at least the last decade.

Here is my version with a Valentine Day twist.
No judging, just enjoy. :)

I decided to not wrap the pens in green floral tape. I like the red and black pens with the flower tops.

So, go, choose a Pinterest project of your own and share. Don't be a scary cat.

Come back next month for Pinterest Challenge #2!

Earth, Wind, and Fire ATC's

I absolutely love this stamp set from Smeared Ink called Elementals (from 2013 I believe).
It fits perfect for an ATC Swap I was in called Earth, Wind, Fire.

I tried a couple different techniques for the skin tones using a mix of topics, watercolors, and Wink of Stella pens. I just kept layering them until I received the intricate mix of non-perfection I was looking to receive.

Hope my partners like them!

Wrapping Up 2014 - Miscellaneous Swap Photos

I have been a bit behind in posting anything. Nothing like getting ready for a new baby to arrive to slow things down.

Here are some swaps that I have completed and thought I would share.
Sorry the photos are so small. I gave up on sizing them.
