January COTM

One of the groups I am in has a Card of the Month Club. For January the color theme was black, white and silver. We are to make a card using these colors and mail to our partner.

I used a glossy paper for the card itself. Layered with some smooth black Bazzil paper then added a 1 1/2 inch strip of this gorgeous handmade white paper with a black velvet vine/flower pattern, added some black ribbon with embedded rhinestones and topped it off with some very sparkly glitter paper in silver and a stamped image in black. Hope she likes it!

Happy Valentine's Day

“What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what gets you out of bed in the mornings, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.”

SSSD Year of Tag, Snow Buddies and From the Heart Swaps

I am so far behind on E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G it seems like.
Here are a few things I have completed this year for a few swaps.

The first one is a November theme tag swap. Layers of Glimmer Mist, embossed papers and rich inks.

The second one is a "Snow" themed tag swap. Fun background book paper, layers of inks and thick, almost furry glitter.

The last one is a "From the Heart" poem swap. I had so much fun making those little bows from paper.

From the look of this photo I should invest in a photography class. Sorry about the terrible photos.
