Here is my next project --- a book mark. Another idea using
the tag idea that was shown by Lindsay on The Frugal Crafter blog. I kept the concept simple as I made these for
one of my book club group. I needed something that could be made on a whim (I
had a 2 day notice to make them), in bulk quantity and flat, very flat to be
able to run through my laminator. The other twist to the challenge was you had
to use what you have and they all have to look the same. No buying anything!
Whew! To make 20 bookmarks under those rules was a challenge in the ribbon/fiber
department. I have a LOT of fibers and ribbon, but not 18-20 feet of the same
thing…I only had this ribbon. So here it is. Kinda plain looking to me, but as
a flat bookmark you can only get so blingy!
On the bookmark I used:
Smeared Ink Stamp Set “Quoth the Raven”; Close to My Heart Black
Archival Ink; Stampin UP Pastels; Miscellaneous Cream Cardstock, Orange Ribbon
